Care That Meets You Where Your Are

When is a Virtual Visit the Right Choice?

Telehealth appointments are a great choice for most (but not all) health scenarios. Most routine and follow-up visits work just as well over video. Here are some of the most common reasons our patients choose telehealth:

Telehealth is a great fit for:

  • Colds, flu, allergies, and minor infections

  • Prescription refills and medication check-ins

  • Discussing lab results or test results

  • Follow-up visits after an in-person appointment

  • General health questions and preventive care guidance

  • Managing ongoing conditions like diabetes, blood pressure, or asthma

How it works

Your first telehealth visit, step by step

Setting up a telehealth appointment for care over a video call is simple and convenient.

Book Your Appointment

Click the link below to select a time and date with one of our providers and you will receive a confirmation email.

Check your tech ahead of time

You'll need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. We recommend clicking your appointment link the day before to make sure everything works and reaching out to our team if it doesn't.

Find a quiet, private space

Choose somewhere comfortable where you can speak freely. Good lighting helps your provider see you clearly, a room with a window works great.

Join your visit

At your appointment time, click the link we sent you. Your provider will join shortly.

After your visit

Any prescriptions, referrals, or follow-up instructions will be sent to you directly. If your provider recommends an in-person visit, we'll schedule that for you before you go.

What telehealth can cover

Follow-up visits, medication reviews, and many acute concerns can be handled securely by video when an in-person exam is not required.

  • Same clinician continuity when possible
  • Clear next steps after the visit
  • Prescriptions sent electronically when appropriate

How to prepare

Have your medication list ready, join from a quiet private space, and keep your phone nearby in case we need a backup connection.

  • Stable internet and charged device
  • Recent vitals if you track them at home
  • Questions written down ahead of time

Do I need special software?

No. Most visits run in a browser or through a simple link we send before the appointment.

What if my connection drops?

We will call you to finish the visit by phone when video is unstable.

Can kids use telehealth?

Yes, for many follow-ups and non-emergency concerns. A parent or guardian must join the visit.

Common Quesions

Things families often ask us

Here are some answers to some of the most popular questions we receive from new patients. If you don't see your question below, feel free to contact us for more information.

Does insurance cover telehealth visits?

Most insurance plans cover telehealth the same way they cover in-person visits. We recommend checking with your insurer. Our service team can also help you verify your coverage before your appointment.

Can I have a family member join my visit?

Absolutely. You're welcome to have a family member join for support, to help translate, or simply to be there with you. Just let your provider know at the start of the visit.

What if I am late to my appointment?

We offer a 10-minute grace period for all telehealth visits because we understand that getting online can be tricky. After 10 minutes, the call will be ended, and an administrator will reach out to you about rescheduling.

What if I miss my telehealth appointment?

If you are unable to make your appointment please call or email the team to let us know in advance and we will be happy to help you reschedule.

What if I have trouble with the technology?

Don't worry, we're here to help. Call our office before your appointment and someone on our team will walk you through it. We can also switch to a phone call if video isn't working for you.

Can I use my insurance for telehealth appointments?

Yes, depending on your specific provider and coverage plan, your telehealth appointment may be covered by insurance. Contact your insurance provider to check your coverage in advance.
